Soccer Recap: Auburn Adventist Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Auburn Adventist was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes. If Auburn Adventist were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Mount Vernon Christian when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Auburn Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1. As for Mount Vernon Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Auburn Adventist will face off against Evergreen Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Auburn Adventist their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they will square off against Coupeville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
