Soccer Recap: Dunn Gets the Win

On Saturday, it was close, but the Dunn Earwigs sidestepped the Thacher Toads for a 2-1 win. The Earwigs found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Luiz Felipe and Alexander Schoenherr were both handed yellow cards.

Isaac Bakwira and David Li scored both of Dunn's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Dunn now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Thacher, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunn will take on Nordhoff at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Thacher, they will face off against Cate at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cate will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Thacher surely won't give up without a fight.
