Football Recap: Brady Bachman Key Part of Team Effort in Cougars Win

Valley View won the last time they faced Wallenpaupack Area and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars walked away with a 20-7 win over the Buckhorns. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Valley View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Bachman out in front who rushed for 87 yards and one TD. Bachman also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending one pass.

Bachman was just one part of a punishing run game: Valley View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 288 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Valley View's record is now 6-4. As for Wallenpaupack Area, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
