With a playoff win on the line, East Lincoln rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Hickory Red Tornadoes. The win was familiar territory for East Lincoln, who have now won eight matches in a row.

They hit Hickory with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carter King (2), Matthew Cowgill, and Jayden Welborn.

East Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 20-4-1. As for Hickory, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 18-4-3 record.

Looking ahead, East Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Enka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
