Soccer Recap: Braddock's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Braddock's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Miami Stingarees a 1-0 shutout. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Stingarees are ranked 255th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braddock's one-goal win came courtesy of Jean Carlos Rodriguez, who's now up to 13 this season.

Braddock's win bumped their record up to 10-1-3. As for Miami, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7.

Braddock will host Goleman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Braddock is facing Goleman at the right time seeing as Goleman is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
