Independence has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will venture away from home to square off against the Liberty Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Liberty might have lost, but man, Elmo Whitten was a machine: he rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
