George Ranch's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Alief Elsik Rams by a score of 40-31. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Leading George Ranch to victory were Tony Morrison and Hayden Drinkard. Morrison threw for 318 yards and three TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes, while Drinkard rushed for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
