Utica hadn't done well against Utica Ford recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Chieftains came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0. The Chieftains were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Chieftains were just returning the favor.

Kylee Backus paced Utica's offense, picking up seven kills. Backus got some help from Rachel Rettell and her 11 assists. Chloe Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
