            Baseball Recap: West Ranch Wildcats vs. La Mirada Matadores        
        
		
        
        
            West Ranch suffered their biggest  loss since March 8th on Saturday. They lost  12-4 to the La Mirada Matadores. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Matadores apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February of 2022.
  Mikey Murr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  double.
This is the second loss in a row for West Ranch and  nudges their season record down to 15-8. As for La Mirada, their record now sits at 18-6.
 Coming up, West Ranch will be playing in front of their home fans against Hart  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.2  runs per game this season. As for La Mirada, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Bellflower  at 3:15  p.m.  on Monday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so the Matadores' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
