Game recap: St. Joseph's Catholic Academy defeats Mercyhurst Prep

BOALSBURG, Pa. - St. Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, Pa.) upset Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, Pa.) 46-6 on Saturday. Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, Pa.) came into the week ranked No. 396 in Pennsylvania.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Wolves led 25-6 at the half.

St. Joseph's Catholic Academy grew its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. SJCA scored two times in the third, including once on a punt return touchdown.

Mercyhurst Prep's lone touchdown came on a run in the first quarter.
