Baseball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh fell victim to Fuquay - Varina and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Bengals. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Bengals: they've now lost eight in a row.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Fuquay - Varina, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh will challenge Corinth Holders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corinth Holders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Southeast Raleigh's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fuquay - Varina, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Garner at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. The last four games Garner has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
