Volleyball Recap: Haines City Comes Up Short

Haines City lost against Ridge Community back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Bolts. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Haines City had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.

Haines City's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Ridge Community, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Haines City will take on Mulberry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridge Community, they will face off against St. Cloud at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
