Imperial waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Calexico Bulldogs 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Imperial walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8, 25-21.

Maddie Magdaleno paced Imperial's offense, picking up eight kills. Magdaleno got some help from Ashlyn Tucker and her eight assists. Finally, Maci-Jo Clayton kept Imperial's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Imperial's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Calexico, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Imperial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against El Capitan on the 21st. As for Calexico, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Holtville on the 26th.
