Ironwood Ridge won against Sahuaro on Thursday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Nighthawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Walden Grove Red Wolves 9-7. Winning may never get old, but the Nighthawks sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Ironwood Ridge pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.8 runs. As for Walden Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Ironwood Ridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Wolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
