Volleyball Game Preview: Woodlan Warriors vs. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets

The Woodlan Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, Woodlan beat Fort Wayne Wayne 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Fort Wayne Wayne scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 16-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran made easy work of DeKalb on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Barons: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-13.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Woodlan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Woodlan beat Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran 3-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
