Football Recap: South Tama County Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centerville, South Tama County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Pella Christian Eagles 28-27.

South Tama County now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pella Christian, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, South Tama County will venture away from home to face off against Davis County on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pella Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Albia at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles will be up against the Blue Demons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
