Volleyball Recap: Jersey's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Jersey came into Monday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Charleston Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Jersey easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10.

Lauryn Turpin paced Jersey's offense, picking up 12 kills. Turpin got some help from Adrian Blasa and her 24 assists. Blasa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Jersey's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Charleston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-27 record this season.

Jersey has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Glenwood on the 28th. Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
