Volleyball Recap: Mylie Ramirez and Grace Russell Secure Win for Jersey

Jersey came into Monday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Charleston Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Jersey easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10.

Leading Jersey to victory were Grace Russell and Mylie Ramirez. Russell had ten digs and one assist, while Ramirez had five digs. Russell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Jersey's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Charleston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 20 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-27 record this season.

Jersey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Glenwood on the 28th. Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
