Baseball Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss

Mojave fell victim to Lone Pine and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mojave's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Lone Pine, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mojave will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Palmdale Academy Charter School at 3:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Lone Pine, they will be playing at home against Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
