Baseball Recap: Parchment Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Parchment had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Maroon Giants: they've now lost six in a row.

Parchment and Kalamazoo Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Parchment sees the field they'll take on Hackett Catholic Prep at 6:15 p.m. on April 10. As for Kalamazoo Central, their break will end when they face Portage Northern at 4:00 p.m. on April 10.
