Softball Recap: St. Anthony Village Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

St. Anthony Village had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the Mahtomedi Zephyrs on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since April 25, 2024.

Caitlyn Rosha was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Abby Niemi also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

St. Anthony Village picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-18. As for Mahtomedi, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Anthony Village nor Mahtomedi have any future games scheduled.
