Volleyball Recap: Roger Bacon Wins Going Away Against Dunbar

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Roger Bacon had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Dunbar Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-2, 25-17.

The win made it two in a row for Roger Bacon and bumps their season record up to 14-10. As for Dunbar, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Roger Bacon will challenge Bishop Fenwick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. Dunbar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
