Basketball Recap: West Lutheran Takes a Loss

West Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-53 to Heritage Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while Heritage Christian are ranked 104th).

West Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Heritage Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

West Lutheran will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Spectrum at 7:30 p.m. Spectrum knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully West Lutheran likes a good challenge. As for Heritage Christian, they will take on United Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
