Softball Recap: Bishop Brady Comes Up Short

If Bishop Brady was feeling good fresh off their 12-3 takedown of Hillsboro-Deering on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Giants fell just short of the White Mountains Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The matchup marked the Giants' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brooklyn Griffin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Bishop Brady's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for White Mountains, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
