Soccer Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Eastern was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Eastern of the 6-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The defeat snapped Eastern's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.
