Baseball Game Preview: Glacier Peak Grizzlies vs. Jackson Timberwolves

Glacier Peak hasn't had much luck against Jackson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Grizzlies will be playing at home against the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Glacier Peak is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since May 4, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Kamiak by a score of 5-3. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Jackson's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Arlington by a score of 5-4.

Jackson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Halvorson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Glacier Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Jackson, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.

Glacier Peak skirted past Jackson 4-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
