Football Recap: North Schuylkill Piles Up the Points Against Pottsville

North Schuylkill won the last time they faced Pottsville and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans blew past the Crimson Tide 48-8. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

North Schuylkill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cole Meskunas and Caden Mengel.

North Schuylkill has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points over those games. As for Pottsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
