Baseball Recap: Jordan Has No Trouble Against West

Jordan put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Everything went their way against the West Panthers as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Beetdiggers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

DANIEL STROPE looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on NOAH GATTI, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of KODY KEMP, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Jordan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive games.

Jordan's record now sits at 7-2. As for West, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Jordan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
