Volleyball Recap: Logan Beats Franklin Heights for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Logan waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Franklin Heights Falcons. The Chieftains have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Logan took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-7, 25-11.

Leading Logan to victory were Lila Kern and Gracen Grow. Kern had 22 assists and five aces, while Grow had 11 digs and two aces. Kern is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 22 or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Lily McKee also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Logan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Logan's record now sits at 18-6. As for Franklin Heights, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

Looking ahead, Logan will square off against Westerville South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
