Basketball Recap: Pike County Comes Up Short

Pike County lost against Jackson last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pike County Pirates lost 47-26 to the Jackson Red Devils. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pike County still got an impressive performance from Sadie Lewis, who posted nine points and three steals. Lewis has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerrah Foster, who had six points.

Pike County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Jackson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-18.

As of now, neither Pike County nor Jackson have any future games scheduled.
