Softball Recap: Dallas Has No Trouble Against Franklin

After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Dallas brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Franklin Quakers a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Dragons' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The team relied heavily on Ava Woods, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Harlow Nelson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Dallas' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Dallas will welcome Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to face off against Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
