Basketball Recap: Hudson Vosika's Big Game Can't Quite Lead B O L D over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta

B O L D was the 54-47 winner over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The B O L D Warriors received a blow on Monday as they fell 73-57 to the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers.

B O L D's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Vosika, who posted 13 points and three steals. Vosika is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Will Penkert was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Asmus, who on his way to 18 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Huebner, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

B O L D's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

B O L D has already played their next game, an 85-71 victory against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City on the 18th. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-47 win against Sauk Centre on the 21st.
