Christ Covenant proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Epiphany Falcons 2-1. For Christ Covenant, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Epiphany walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Caroline Gibbs and Elin Smith scored both of Christ Covenant's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Christ Covenant pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Epiphany, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ Covenant will challenge Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Christ Covenant's defense better be ready for this one: Community Christian has averaged an impressive 4.4 goals per game this season. As for Epiphany, they will face off against Liberty Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
