Volleyball Recap: Crismon Finds Playoff Glory Versus Combs

With a playoff win on the line, Crismon rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Combs Coyotes with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in April.

Crismon walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Brenden McInerney and Micah Joynes, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Aiden Arnett and his 22 assists. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Combs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Crismon nor Combs have any future games scheduled.
