Volleyball Recap: Paul VI Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Paul VI is ranked highly in their home state and on Wednesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bishop McNamara. The Panthers blew past the Mustangs 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Paul VI won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-20.

Paul VI's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clara Hays, who had ten digs and two assists. Hays has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Paul VI's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Bishop McNamara, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
