Tunstall has gone 9-1 against Bassett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Bengals at 5:00 p.m. Tunstall's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Bassett's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Tunstall fell victim to Magna Vista and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bassett, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Martinsville 11-1 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bengals considering their two-run performance the match before.

Bassett has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Tunstall, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.

Tunstall skirted past Bassett 1-0 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
