Soccer Recap: Spotsylvania Takes a Loss

Spotsylvania was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the King George Foxes. If Spotsylvania were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to King George when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Spotsylvania's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for King George, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spotsylvania will welcome James Monroe at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Spotsylvania will be up against James Monroe's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for King George, they will be playing at home against Chancellor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
