Basketball Recap: Melrose's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Melrose had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Benson by a score of 49-42 on Friday. The Dutchmen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Benson, too.

Melrose's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Benson, they moved to 11-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melrose will square off against Montevideo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benson has already played their next contest (against MACCRAY), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
