Baseball Game Preview: Foster Bulldogs vs. Tyee Titans

Foster is on an eight-game streak of home losses, and Tyee a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Foster Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Tyee Titans at 3:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Foster put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Renton, sneaking past 12-10.

Shawn Davidson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Anthony Marshall was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, Tyee can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Renton a 10-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Titans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Foster's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for Tyee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-13.
