The Caledonia Warriors will take on the Dover-Eyota Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Caledonia is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
Caledonia is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 20-4 margin over Lourdes on Monday. Considering the Warriors have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Elsa Blum, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Lauren Goetzinger was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Caledonia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Dover-Eyota's offense. They fell just short of Stewartville by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Caledonia pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Dover-Eyota, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Caledonia's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Dover-Eyota, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Caledonia continue to outrun the ball?
Caledonia beat Dover-Eyota 8-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
