Baseball Recap: Robertsdale Comes Up Short

Robertsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orange Beach Makos. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Makos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Andrew Mcdaniel led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kael Nielson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Robertsdale now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Orange Beach, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Coincidentally, Robertsdale and Orange Beach will both be playing Leroy the next time they take the field. The Golden Bears will host the Bears at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Makos will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
