Baseball Recap: O'Gorman Gets the Win

O'Gorman took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Park Hill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. O'Gorman had just enough and edged out Park Hill 7-6 on Saturday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Isaac Tobin looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Zach Barr and Jack Stukel did most of the damage at the plate: Barr scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Stukel scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

O'Gorman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Park Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, O'Gorman will face off against Blue Valley North at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Park Hill, they will square off against Festus at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Festus' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Park Hill's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
