Baseball Recap: Orangefield Comes Up Short

Orangefield lost to Port Neches-Groves back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats fell 8-3 to the Indians.

Orangefield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Green, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another was Layne Reynolds, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Orangefield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Orangefield has already played their next contest (against Bridge City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Port Neches-Groves, they will head out to square off against Vidor at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
