Softball Recap: David Thibodaux Comes Up Short

David Thibodaux lost against John Curtis Christian back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 9-1 to the Patriots. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

David Thibodaux saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justice Chambers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another was Aubrey Savini, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

David Thibodaux's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for John Curtis Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

David Thibodaux will face off against Northside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for John Curtis Christian, they will challenge Doyle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
