Basketball Game Preview: Crane Cranes vs. Pecos Eagles

The Crane Cranes are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against the Pecos Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Crane has given up an average of 66.5 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Crane lost to Buena Vista at home by a 69-53 margin.

Meanwhile, Pecos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 60-44 fall against Bel Air.

Crane will need to focus on slowing down Eli Ramirez, one of several Pecos players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points. Zayde Hinojoz also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Crane, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Crane couldn't quite get it done against Pecos in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as they fell 56-48. Can the Cranes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
