Basketball Recap: George-Little Rock Comes Up Short

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Hinton Blackhawks, falling 77-23. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 44th).

George-Little Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hinton, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. George-Little Rock will face off against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hinton, they will take on Kingsley-Pierson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Hinton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
