It was a good run, but Lancaster Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 9-2 to the Twin Valley Raiders.

Lancaster Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angelina Calhoun, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Lancaster Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Twin Valley, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Lancaster Catholic and Twin Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Crusaders will challenge Columbia at 4:15 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (167 vs. 603). Meanwhile, Twin Valley (ranked 75th) will meet Berks Catholic (ranked 418th) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
