Seminary dropped their record down to 22-5 on Saturday, which also ended the team's 15-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Germantown Mavericks by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since March 7th.

Eric McCullum made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. Jomarrion 'JoJo' Flowers was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

As for Germantown, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

On Germantown's side, Jackson Estes was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The Mavericks are 5-2 when Estes posts two or more runs, but 7-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ashton Smith, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Seminary has already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Northeast Jones on the 14th. As for Germantown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Terry on the 14th.
