Recap: Wyatt Chaparrals vs. Taylor Ducks

The Wyatt Chaparrals had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 73-42 win over Taylor. The win was just what Wyatt needed coming off of a 81-53 loss in their prior game.

When it comes to explaining why Taylor lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eli Laurence. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Antonio Torres was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.

Wyatt's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Taylor, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Wyatt is on the road again on Saturday and play against La Vega at 11:00 a.m. on December 2nd. La Vega presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wyatt in Texas (La Vega is ranked 485th, while Wyatt is ranked 1314th). As for Taylor, they will take on Trinity Leadership at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Trinity Leadership focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
