5A Region IV District 26 recap September 17, 2013
Johnson moved up to 174 from 260 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region IV District 26. Johnson climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Wagner 43-0.
Ron Rittimann's team took down the Thunderbirds 43-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Hunter Rittimann threw for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 13 yards in the win.
Rittimann and Braeden Williams gave Johnson a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Santana Barrera also contributed to the rushing game with 42 yards on the ground.

Marcel Mayes was the best wideout in the league this week as Roosevelt fell to Canyon. Mayes racked up 5 receptions for 120 yards. Arrion Springs helped Roosevelt's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 69 yards.
Jacob Preciado was a passing and rushing force as the Rough Riders lost to the Cougars. He completed 14 passes for 222 yards and also ran for 39 yards.
Williams was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 56 yards on 14 carries as Johnson fell to Canyon.
Rittimann put up the best numbers through the air as Johnson beat Wagner. Rittimann's favorite target this week was Devlin Gilligan, who caught 5 passes for 79 yards.
Reagan led 5A Region IV District 26 in scoring this week by notching 47 points on Pflugerville.
